This EP takes five songs that were made separately from each other and connects them under the name 'Circle Music'. Circles and cycles have been present throughout many of my creative endeavors and music is no different. Identifying and connecting these songs manifested as the completion of a cycle, as I had "finished" my first journey into self-produced music. My learning process itself is a cycle, as I constantly return to the same techniques, sounds, and mindsets, in order to delve deeper into them. I am still grappling with loop based music, which quite literally imposes cycles on to an arrangement. Ultimately I strive for texture and atmosphere, two sensations/experiences that are enveloping, much like the embrace of a circle.
